Meeting Report
During the business meeting, Michael Brown was re-elected chair of the Database SIG. No e-mail election will be held since he was the only nominee. Also, the proposed amendments to then Bylaws were passed. An updated copy of the bylaws has been uploaded.
Geek Meet buttons were handed out at the meeting. Geek Meet 2010 will be held in South Seas A at 7:30 Monday after the Welcome Reception in the Exhibitor Showcase.
The Database SIG would like to thank Steven Chan of Oracle for participating in our discussion about desupport dates. The information he provided was invaluable.
